About the Workshop

The program focuses on fascinating interdisciplinary topics in correlative materials characterization, combining techniques such as SEM, TEM, AFM, Raman, X-ray, and optical microscopy. These methods enable advanced structural and functional analysis across fields including nanotechnology, semiconductors, biomaterials, and life sciences—bridging fundamental research with real-world applications.

The workshop brings together communities from diverse disciplines and institutions—materials science, life sciences, computer science, and more—to exchange ideas, inspire one another, and share hands-on experience with correlative approaches.
